Attorney Joey LaHatte is the managing member of LaHatte Law Firm and is a native New Orleanian. Joey’s father ‘Joe’ was a lawyer for thirty years in New Orleans and developed an extensive plaintiff personal injury practice by taking a unique approach to the handling of insurance claims.

Joey attended Louisiana State University for a technological degree, where he was also involved in the nationally renowned ‘Golden Band from Tigerland.’

Joey attended Loyola New Orleans School of Law and later practiced in the areas of insurance defense, construction defect, premises liability, insurance coverage, property damage, and participated in various trials and arbitrations.

Joey is married to his wife Virginia and they have three children, Caroline, Charlotte, and Daniel. Joey also is an active member of the renowned all-male dance team, The 610 Stompers and regularly dances at charity events to raise money for various causes.

Currently, Joey is accepting a multitude of different insurance claims and bad faith insurance claims. Joey primarily practices in the Property/Casualty realm dealing with home and business insurance claims.
